Week 5 of the Varsity Spring League kicked off with a back and forth battle between rivals Westwood and Walpole. After several lead changes in the final few minutes, Tim Giovino hit the go ahead 3-pointer with under a minute left to seal the deal for Westwood in their 55-52 win. Game 2 saw a battle of the undefeateds with Franklin and Needham, both coming into the game at 4-0. After a close first half, Franklin's hot shooting overcame Needham's early lead and secured them a 16 point win (69-53). The final game of the night saw Holliston make its way into the win collum with a strong 15 point win over Norwood (46-31).
